Emily Kirk Weddle

Director of Marketing & Digital Content

 

Emily Kirk Weddle, Director of Marketing & Digital Content, joined Boston Baroque in 2019. In her position, Emily is responsible for managing Boston Baroque's marketing activities, including managing brand identity, public relations, and developing web strategy, and producing all digital content, including executive producing and editing of full-length concert and opera video productions and documentary short films, producing livestreams, and running live virtual programs.

Prior to joining Boston Baroque, Emily served as the Development and Marketing Manager at Cantata Singers for five years. Previous experience includes internships with the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine. She previously served as Communications Chair of Wellesley College Friends of Art National Committee, and has been an advocate and fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association since 2017.

Emily earned her MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University in 2020, graduating with high honors and concentrations in Social Impact and Leadership & Organizational Transformation. She graduated cum laude from Wellesley College in 2014 with honors in Music and Art History.

Emily currently lives in Medford with her husband, and their two rescue pets—Maeby, a ginger polydactyl cat, and Oliver, a Siberian husky/Labrador retriever mix. She enjoys baking, reading, and practicing yoga in her free time.
