Boston Baroque is seeking a creative and passionate Marketing & Audience Services Manager. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling, enjoys brainstorming fresh content ideas, and is excited to promote music and the arts through digital platforms. The position is hybrid, with weekly in-person meetings in Boston. The Marketing & Audience Services Manager will report directly to Nic Peart-Laschever, the Director of Marketing. 


Key Responsibilities 

Social Media & Digital Content 

  • Craft compelling and engaging social media content for Facebook and Instagram, with some small content creation for TikTok, YouTube, Blue Sky, and LinkedIn 

  • Executing email campaigns and targeted lists 

  • Design and edit eye-catching graphics and video content for social media and other digital platforms (experience with Canva is a plus, but not required) 

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to brainstorm and execute innovative content ideas, including creating content for advertisements 

  • Monitor engagement and trends across platforms to optimize content performance 

Audience Services 

  • Manage physical and virtual box office for all events  

  • Manage the public-facing email accounts and phone line. 

  • Maintain ticket orders, qualifying contacts, executing refunds, exchanges, etc.   

  • Coordinate third party sales and complimentary ticket programs 

Additional Responsibilities 

  • Must be in attendance for all concerts. 

  • Provide additional event support for other organizational activities, such as development events 

  • Participate in weekly check-in meetings (virtual or in-person) 

  • Assist with occasional special projects related to audience engagement and digital storytelling 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Ability to drive to concerts and in-person meetings in Boston (in order to bring front of house supplies, program books etc). (Parking will be reimbursed for events) 

  • Passion for music and the arts, with an excitement for creative storytelling 

  • Experience in social media content creation, graphic design, and/or video editing 

  • Familiarity with Canva or other design tools (preferred but not required) 

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team 

  • Knowledge of classical music is a plus, but not required—curiosity and enthusiasm are more important! 


Compensation & Logistics 

  • Rate: $45,000 - $55,000 /yr 

  • Schedule: Part- or full-time, depending on availability 

  • Location: Hybrid with weekly in-person meetings and concert
