A program of Baroque masterworks including Ferrandini’s Il Pianto di Maria featuring mezzo-soprano Meridian Prall, a suite from Rameau’s Les Boréades, J. S. Bach’s Sinfonia to Cantata BWV 42, and a selection from Handel’s Water Music Suite in F Major.

HAYDN’S LORD NELSON MASS

Presenting Haydn’s choral masterwork, the Missa in Angustiis (Lord Nelson Mass) coupled with Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G minor. Bernard Labadie is joined by Lauren Snouffer, soprano, Alex Hetherington, mezzo-soprano, Andrew Haji, tenor, and Philippe Sly, bass-baritone, all making their Boston Baroque debuts.


THE X-TET: SOUNDS FROM SPAIN

Feb 7, 2026 | Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre
Composer | Olivia Pérez-Collellmir

This program, curated by Boston Baroque Associate Artistic Director Christina Day Martinson, features arrangements of works by Spanish composer Olivia Pérez-Collellmir, coupled with works from the Spanish Baroque featuring tenor Karim Sulayman.


MOZART’S IDOMENEO

Apr 24 & 26, 2026 | Robert J. Orchard Stage at the Paramount Center

Conductor | David Bates

Torn between duty and love, Idomeneo—King of Crete—must choose between his son’s life and a vow to the gods. Join us for Mozart’s powerful take on this timeless tale. Featuring David Portillo as Idomeneo, Hera Hyesang Park as Ilia, Valerie Eickhoff as Idamante, Wendy Bryn Harmer as Elettra, Omar Najmi as Arbace, and Joel Clemens as La Voce.


THE X-TET: SOUNDS FROM TURKEY & THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE

May 30 & 31, 2026 | Multicultural Arts Center

Composer | Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol

This program features the world premiere of a commission by celebrated Turkish composer Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol and will also include works from the Ottoman period. The X-tet will be joined by members of Sanlıkol’s ensemble, DÜNYA.

 
 

2026 ANNUAL GALA

June 14, 2026 | The Garden at Elm Bank

Join us as we celebrate beloved soprano Amanda Forsythe and her 25 years of performances with Boston Baroque at our annual gala at The Garden at Elm Bank! For more information, Contact Katie DeBonville at kdebonville@bostonbaroque.org.

The event will start with cocktails in the garden followed by an indoor dinner and salon-style concert featuring members of Boston Baroque’s orchestra, and special guest artists.
