Presenting Haydn’s choral masterwork, the Missa in Angustiis (Lord Nelson Mass) coupled with Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G minor. Bernard Labadie is joined by Lauren Snouffer, soprano, Alex Hetherington, mezzo-soprano, Andrew Haji, tenor, and Philippe Sly, bass-baritone, all making their Boston Baroque debuts.

Torn between duty and love, Idomeneo—King of Crete—must choose between his son’s life and a vow to the gods. Join us for Mozart’s powerful take on this timeless tale. THE X-TET: SOUNDS FROM TURKEY & THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE

May 30 & 31, 2026 | Multicultural Arts Center

Composer | Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol

This program features the world premiere of a commission by celebrated Turkish composer Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol and will also include works from the Ottoman period. The X-tet will be joined by members of Sanlıkol’s ensemble, DÜNYA.
